Techion is designed with privacy as a core principle. Core app communication occurs directly between your device and your configured Technitium server. If you enable Techion Analytics, the app separately sends limited aggregate usage statistics to Techion-operated infrastructure. Credentials, app settings, and locally collected analytics data may be stored on your device.
Data used by Core Techion features is stored locally on your device unless it is transmitted to your configured Technitium DNS server to provide functionality or included in limited aggregate analytics transmitted when Techion Analytics is enabled.
When enabled, Techion collects and sends limited aggregate daily usage statistics, including:
The pseudonymous app identifier is not an account identifier or authentication credential.
Techion Analytics does not send:
Techion does not use third-party analytics or crash reporting services.
Techion connects directly to your configured Technitium DNS server.
The app may perform background or automated requests to support functionality, including refreshing data, maintaining state, and uploading analytics when enabled.
Important: Your Technitium DNS server and any upstream DNS services you configure may independently log or process data. Techion does not control how that data is logged or processed.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Techion does not collect or store payment information and does not have access to your payment details.
After initial setup, the app presents a non-dismissable notice requiring you to choose whether to allow or deny analytics. You can change this setting later in Privacy & Security.
Disabling analytics stops future collection and uploads; it does not by itself erase aggregate analytics already stored locally.
For questions or support, please refer to the contact information provided within the app or on the App Store listing.
